Judith Puttock
Chair
Judith has worked as a Senior Human Resources Professional in four major Canadian corporations, consulted to senior leaders, and provided confidential executive coaching to senior leaders in corporations in Canada, and the United States. She currently specializes in Executive and Career Transition Coaching and Human Resources consulting.
Jill Hendry
Vice-Chair
Jill has been in the financial industry for over 20 years and is currently Manager of Operations with Meridian, Ontario’s largest Credit Union. Jill has been supporting Women’s Centre of York Region for over 10 years, most recently, using her expertise, partnering with Meridian, to provide Financial Coaching for the Centre’s Microlending/Entrepreneur program. Jill is passionate about supporting her community.
Kelly Broome
Vice-Chair
Kelly teaches and empowers woman of any age with the love of dance for fitness through her business DanceIt. Kelly is a Newmarket resident and currently works for the NewRoads Automotive Group as the Customer Relations manager, Community Engagement and Events Planner. Kelly joined the Board in April, 2012 and focuses on Fund Development, Community Engagement, Events, Social Media, Branding and Marketing.
Trudy White
Treasurer
Trudy has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and auditing and is currently a manager at the audit form BDO Canada LLP. She received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1993, Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2013 and Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 2012. Trudy has provided audit and accounting services to a wide range of not-for-profit charity organizations in the York Region area. Trudy joined the Board in 2016 as Treasurer and provides accounting advice to the organization.

Susan Lahey
Member
A resident of Mount Albert, Susan brings 30 years of dedicated volunteer experience to the WCYR in a variety of capacities for not-for-profit organizations, museums, art and education groups.  Currently she is serving as a Board Member on the East Gwillimbury Public Library (fundraising and policy committees); Director of the Mount Albert Village Association (revitalization committee); and volunteer with the Mount Albert United Church Food Pantry.  Susan is a professional art appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers.  Most recently she is Founder and CEO of SL Home Support for Seniors Inc., a business dedicated to helping elderly loved ones live at home independently.
Kim Powell
Member
Kim has worked in marketing and advertising for over 20 years for a broad range of industries.  She is currently Co-Chair for the 5th Annual Camp Oochigeas Gala for the Haddan Eby Endowment Fund.  A  longtime resident of Aurora, Kim is passionate about  helping women and children in the community by volunteering at the Rose of Sharon Centre and Yellow Brick House. Kim joined the Board in November 2017 focusing on fund development, events and marketing.
Angela Vegh
Member
Angela brings over 15 years’ experience in marketing research in a broad range of industries, including non-profit. Prior to starting her own business, she gained her research expertise at a number of marketing research firms. A resident of Newmarket, she is an avid supporter of local charities and art groups. Angela joined the Board in May, 2015. With a keen interest in the advancement of women and children, Angela has served on the Board of Nellie’s Women’s Shelter and mentored teens at the Alexandra Park Neighbourhood Learning Centre’s Literacy Program in Toronto.
 Cindy Winer
Member
Cindy is self-employed as a Mediator, specializing in insurance, workplace and commercial disputes. She also provides Career Transition Coaching and Organizational Health Consulting services. Her corporate background includes over 25 years in the life and health insurance industry. She held the position of Vice President, Life and Health Claims for a major insurer from 1998 to 2007 and the role of Health and Productivity Specialist for a leading benefits consulting firm from 2011 to 2013. Cindy joined the Board in 2015.
