Judith Puttock, BB.A., CHRP, ATC
Judith has worked as a Senior Human Resources Professional in four major Canadian corporations, consulted to senior leaders, and provided confidential executive coaching to senior leaders in corporations in Canada, and the United States. She currently specializes in Executive and Career Transition Coaching and Human Resources consulting projects.
BMWCYR_Kelly Broome-Plumley                                            Kelly Broome                                                     Vice-Chair                                                     Kelly teaches and empowers women of any age with the love of dance for fitness through her business DanceIt. Kelly is a Newmarket resident and currently works for The NewRoads Automotive Group as the Customer Relations Manager, Community Engagement and Events Planner. Kelly joined the Board in April 2012 and focuses is on Fund Development, Community Engagement, Events, Social Media, Branding and Marketing.                         Angela Vegh photo                                      Angela Vegh                                         Secretary                                                          Angela brings over 15 years’ experience in marketing research in a broad range of industries, including non-profit. Prior to starting her own business, she gained her research expertise at a number of marketing research firms. A resident of Newmarket, she is an avid supporter of local charities and arts groups. Angela joined the Board in May, 2015 and provides administrative support. With a keen interest in the advancement of women and children, Angela has served on the Board of Nellie’s Women’s Shelter and mentored teens at the Alexandra Park Neighbourhood Learning Centre’s Literacy Program in Toronto.

Trudy White
Trudy has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and auditing and is currently a manager at the audit firm BDO Canada LLP.    She received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1993, Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2013 and Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 2012.  Trudy has provided audit and accounting services to a wide range of not-for-profit and charity organizations in the York Region area.  Trudy joined the board in 2016 as Treasurer and provides accounting advice to the organization.   
Cindy Winer
Board Member
Cindy is self-employed as a Mediator specializing in insurance, workplace and commercial disputes. She also provides Career Transition Coaching and Organizational Health Consulting services. Her corporate background includes over twenty-five years in the life and health insurance industry. She held the position of Vice President, Life and Health Claims for a major insurer from 1998 to 2007 and the role of Health and Productivity Specialist for a leading benefits consulting firm from 2011 to 2013. Cindy joined the Board in 2015.
Jill Hendry
Board Member
Jill has been in the financial industry for over 20 years and is currently a Branch Manager at Ontario’s largest Credit Union, “Meridian”. Jill has been supporting Women’s Centre of York Region for the past 10 years, most recently using her expertise, partnering with Meridian, to provide Financial Coaching for the Centre’s Microlending/Entrepreneur program. Jill is passionate about supporting an organization that empowers women in our community.

Board Member 
Joanne is a management consultant specializing in business and digital transformation. She started her career with IBM as a technologist in 1997 but her penchant for the intersection of business and technology led her to the field of business analysis and architecture. In 2014, she resigned from her corporate job to write a business book and founded JDStream Management Consulting Inc. She speaks frequently in business conferences across North America. A resident of Richmond Hill, Joanne is a firm believer in the empowerment of women. She joined the Board in August 2017 focusing on fundraising.

Catherine Curtis
Executive Director
Catherine joined Women’s Centre of York Region as Executive Director in June 2014. With over 24 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector Catherine offers strong charitable sector knowledge, leadership, management , stakeholder engagement and fund development  skills. Catherine previously held leadership roles with Kidney Cancer Canada, Lupus Canada and spent over 14 years working with Friends of We Care in their development department.
